I haven't updated this page in a while. Sorry. I have simply been all over the place since March. From Jakarta to Singapore, Singapore to Kuala Lumpar, KL to New York, New York to Chicago, Chicago to Louisville, back to Chicago and returning back to my second home country for a spell--London. See the journey below:

So I am here - Asia Pacific - Jakarta, Indonesia to be exact. I arrived 5 weeks ago today and what a journey and a change. But it is only the beginning so watch this space for updates on new places and new travels.

September 2011 - I have arrived to the other side of the world and planted my feet in Singapore for a short visit. Love this place!

May 2011 - Back in London (hence the date style change). Just in time for the Royal wedding and a long adjustment back to a normal schedule. Jet lag is true and real folks.

The weather has been brilliant and I couldn't have asked for a better time to return. Spring/Summer is definitely the best and most expensive time to travel to London. However, it is well worth it.

April 13, 2011 - OMG! I have been in Los Angeles (and Orange County respectively) for a week now and forget to tell you. Sorry!

I must say, the weather was a little colder than expected in the month of April and instead of stripping down to my bare minimum (sundress and sandals that is) and strolling along the beach. I was ill-prepared and bundled up in layers of tanks, shirts, leggings, jackets and sneakers. And believe me when I say, after 5 pm I was wishing I had my cloud 9 Uggs. Yep, that cold the first few days.

Now, I am beaming with radiance in the sun, warming my toe-zees in sandals in the cusp of midday heat and strolling Sunset Boulevard.

My tip for visiting this place in April - for morning coolness and night breezes; bring a light jacket or cardigan, closed toe shoes and a scarf ladies.

By midday, you can strip down to your spring wear until about 5 pm, then follow the tips above.

As for Shazza's fashionable places and unique spaces; well I am still looking. Hopefully LA doesn't disappoint. But if you need sun, beaches, scenery and movie stars, it's the place to be.

March 25, 2011 - I am on a mission to find fashionable spaces in a place unknown for anything fashionable - Louisville, KY (my hometown). However, there are some cutesy places hanging around and I plan to find them in the 2 weeks I am here. Stay tuned for more.

Tips for visiting my town: try the 1st Friday Arts tour by trolley for free. Stroll down Museum row, then have a drink at 21C museum hotel (the chocolate Martini is simply to die for). And party at Fourth Street live.
