Turkish Style

My love for travel, culture and life experiences have taken me to Istanbul, Turkey. Yep, the babe took me to Turkey as my belated birthday gift (he is definitely a keeper). What an extraordinary experience, which I can only fully share with you in photos (all taken by my dynamic Droid X of course).

All I can say is, if you haven't been there, you must go. And if you have, share your blessing.

Sultanahmet Mosque...tourist call it, Blue Mosque because of the tiles inside.

Inside the Blue Mosque
Washing up - mainly your feet - is customary before entering any mosque.
The Spice Market was wicked! Look at this array of colors, textures, herbs...we were there for hours. Be ready to haggle.

My future house...Dolmabahce Palace - the home which bankrupt the Ottoman Empire. Hmm, so did the housing crash begin here.
My love for shoes never ends. Even at this underground market. I guess flats are on trend in Turkey.
