Melanie Fiona Live at the Luminaire - Wicked!

Another night out in music with Melanie Fiona. FANTASTIC! Her energy - wicked, her music - soulful and her powerful vocals - effortless and electrifying. She is bringing R&B back to its roots, with rock-soul sounds and real lyrics. Love it! And every minute of the intimate concert! Oh and did I mention she gave us a sneak peek into her new album by singing one of the songs (Dead and Gone, I believe). First time she has sang it to her audience. Epic.

Well as a special treat, I have attached a video of the show. Amazing the power of technology. Everyone either had a smartphone or digital camera taking photos or recording videos. Does anyone attentively watch a concert anymore for entertainment purposes only. Scary really, but useful all the same.

Now I would be remiss if I didn't mention Melanie's (yes we are on a first name basis, thank you) black sequin shorts and gold platforms. Pure hauteness. Seriously loved the shorts. However, I was so mesmerized by her keyboardists' boots that I didn't see Melanie slip right past me off stage. Yep, they were that hot. Not to mention, oh how my lust grew even deeper with my must have leather leggings Melanie's keyboardist was working. Not faux leather but leather darlings - hello!

Boots - hot; pants even hottier.
