Shoe Envy at Von Maur - Louisville

I knew it wouldn't take long to find fabulous shoes on my journey in Louisville, KY and well it didn't. Whoop!

My sister and niece took me on an excursion to Oxmoor Mall (a luxury mall which I use to frequent as a window shopper in my younger years) and as we drove around looking for a parking spot, I immediately saw the stand out store front of Von Maur and had to go in.

From the moment I stepped foot in, my senses were engaged--the pleasant sight of shoes, the melodic sounds of the piano player and the smell of perfume--I was taken. The photos below, plus the shoe heaven room (The Clearance Room) will explain why we never made it past the shoe department in the 2 hours we spent in the store.

Trends: Patent leather is here with a vengeance; classic pumps remain strong; brights; florals; animal prints but with lesser dominance; and shoe detailing.

Jessica Simpson - Black Patent leather (BPL) peep toe platforms - Hot!
Kelsi Dagger tan pantent leather platform pumps - obviously I am a lover of all things classic.

Mojo Moxy is a new shoe designer for me - but these were too cute to pass. The floral detail was beautiful.
Jessica Simpson's S/S 2011 line has really stepped up to another level (in my opinion). The wood platform design plus the stripped canvas upper deems it fan-tabulous and worthy a trip to my shoe closet.
