Special guest at Tim Brown's 911 for Kids Golf Classic

...with Jim Hill - Monarch St. Regis in California.

Me, Tim Brown and friend Bon (Owner of Serenity - an
Aveda concept spa and salon)

Monday, I was invited to a charity golf tournament at one of the most beautiful resorts in California, Monarch St. Regis in Orange County, CA. The annual golf classic, hosted by NFL legends Tim Brown and Jim Hill, benefits Tim Brown's 911 for kids organization. A well-needed and useful  program which teaches children to handle serious situations in a timely and responsible manner.

As a sports fan and follower of the NFL, I was honored to be meeting Heisman trophy winners and hall of fame inductees. So with gorgeous weather, picturesque scenery and beautiful people (inside and out), who could ask for more on a typical Monday.

The scoop:  Apparently, we (myself, Serenity spa stylist and the owner) were suppose to give hand massages to the players (always getting myself into something...I know). However I had no idea what I was doing, so I became the spokesperson and comedian for the day. And what a fantastic time. Jim Hill enjoyed one of our hand massages so much that he moaned, groaned and then invited the stylist (who gave the hand massage) on the golf course (we're not sure if he fell in love with the massage or the stylist...only time will tell.).

Iva - Serenity stylist, Jim Hill and Me - Jim wouldn't let Iva let go of his hand...lol

The boys get ready to head out for a day on the course - Every man's dream.

Did I mention we were serenaded by a magnificent doo-wop group. They look like a famous group - don't they? If you figure it out, please let me know since I forgot to ask.
