| Re-created Harper's Bazaar cover by students |
The fashion advertising (FA) students were charged with putting together a media plan utilizing two different forms of media for a fashion brand of their choosing. However, it was mandatory for one of the media to be a six-page editorial, targeted to the magazine which fit their target audience.
With that in mind, FA students worked along side the Fashion Photography students in a real world business scenario, to bring their vision to glossy with the artistic eye and editing skills of these talented stylist and photographers. Funny how the FA students at times got frustrated with the deadlines (or lack thereof) of the photographer. Welcome to the real world...haha.
Students selected the brand; created the theme; hired the photographer; selected the location, lighting; and styled their own shoots; along with editing and producing the final editorial print copy.
Out of four groups - two groups amazed the judging panel from vision to final product. So congratulations to:
Another Princess Diaries - Stylists: Maqeba, Janice and Dita; Photographers: Cindy and Naomi
It is hard being a princess all day everyday and sometimes they just want to kick back and get a little risque.
