This excellent 11-minute video was featured at Paris Fashion week on a bigger than life screen, in the Palais Ominsports in Bercy for Gareth Pugh's S/S 2011. I am sure this was totally unexpected but a brilliant idea.
My marketing motto: Shock them so they can remember you. Fashion is such a competitive competitive sport: not to mention, saturated with many excellent and not so worthy designers. To present a line at such a time when photographers, editors, stylists, buyers and other fashionable professionals have seen it all, it is imperative to get to the top of fashion industry minds by any means necessary. Kudos to Gareth Pugh and the video direction of Ruth Hogben.
