10 things I leave behind in Chicago

Preparing to venture back to London, I decided to take a moment and go down memory lane from my world-wind year in Chicago. I can't rightly say it was an amazing year in Chicago, but an interesting and unassuming time in the Chi - one I will never forget. Two things are for sure, the food is fantastic; the architecture is second to none; and the CTA is a unique experience.

The saying is true, if you can make it in Chicago you can make it anywhere. I agree. Goodbye Chicago - until next time.

Renowned Architecture and gorgeous city views. (le sigh)
My Droid view of China town - love the shopping and food here.

Running around Lake Michigan by North beach - breathtaking.

My Zen Garden in Lincoln Park - Nature Museum pond

My twice weekly fix (maybe more) at Sultan Market - Food is uber delicious!

Molly's Cupcakes - Need I say more.

My remote office at Caribou Coffee on Armitage & Clark - Hot Dark Chocolate Cocoa, a table by the window and I was set for a day in the office with my Samsung and Droid.

Winters can be a bummer, but in Spring-Summer-Fall blue skies like these were not uncommon.

The enigma of the red line on the CTA train. Take it from North to South and you will see why.

The Purple Pig - My Droid snapshot of the menu. You have to experience it for yourself, but the Moscato is delectable.
