Beautiful Singapore...buildings, landmarks and living

Singapore's beauty reaches to the sky...watching the sunset.

So Ladies and Gents, the Shazza report has relocated to Asia. I will have the pleasure of lecturing and consulting in Fashion marketing and management in Indonesia (Jakarta) and hopefully making some guest appearances in China and India, consequently three of the most stable markets in the world, along with emerging economies and a growing fashion industry. But for training purposes my first stop--Singapore (where the headquarters for Raffles Education Corporation is housed).

Singapore, far exceeds my expectations in architecture, people and food. Although, I have heard great things about this place, I never knew I would feel so comfortable here. I know I say this often, but I could really live here. Really! The people are laid back, respectful and the streets are spotless. For my fellow Americans, I would kindly compare Singapore to Irvine with a hint of LA (minus the LA attitudes and poshness...just sayin').

If you are looking for a place with a multitude of landmarks and tourist attractions, Singapore just isn't the place. Other than a few notable landmarks and a decent night life, most locals believe it is quite boring here. However, that is the beauty of it. This place just seems untouched (at the moment) by loads of touristy shams, schemes and pollution. Which leaves room for any visitor to experience Singapore like a local.

The food...oh the food! I have yet to have a bad dish. From the typical sweet and sour chicken to spicy prawns; and chicken linguine with shiitake mushrooms. Did I mention the ahh refreshing Lime juice. Four- days left in this gorgeous city, so I am looking forward to what else will compliment my taste-buds.

Enjoy the photos and experiencing Singapore through my eyes and of course my handy iPhone. There is more to come.

Luxury Living at Beverly Hills

Great World City Mall

Just loved the clothes lines hanging from a 50 floor high-rise

Uptown finance district

Just admiring the blue sky

Marine Bay Hotel and Skypark - Yes it is a massive ship atop a massive 3600
room resort. The boat is fashioned as a rooftop park with an Olympic size pool.
You either love it or you don't but I found it creative and oh so unique.

The Merilion
Myth has it, that this is the creation of a love affair between the Lion and Pisces...
I could see that since Pisces are one of my favorite people - says the Leo.

Part of the exhibition center - Gorgeous design.
