St. John's Gate built in 1504
So what's a beautiful afternoon in London. Definitely not a sunny stroll that's for sure. However, with no rain in sight, temperate climate and a clean breeze--I couldn't ask for much more on the weather side as I embarked on a new journey--a treasure hunt.

The Priory Church of Saint Bartholomew the Great - Oldest church in London
After a short ride to the Barbican tube station, meeting my good friend Cecilie, getting organized into groups and meeting some newbie friends from
Culureseekers meetup group--we were off in 17 groups of 5 in the
Clerkenwell area of London! And yes as literal as the Brits are--this name was taken from the
Clerk's Well (of the London Parish Clerks)
, which is still a visible site today.

The Golden Boy statue of Gluttony
Our little hunt was full of suprises as we ran into the oldest
church in London, a cute little golden boy, statue of Henry the VIII, secret pubs and so much more. I can say, one of the best things about living in London is being surrounded around so much history, art and culture--all within a stones through away. Loooove it!
Armed with the infamous iPhone, I was able to take a few photos as we rushed the streets of Clerkenwell in search for clues, cheaters and a chance to win the race. Exciting day indeed.
